A Note On Method

As I am going through this process, I thought it would be useful to outline some of my methodological (and or idiosyncratic) assumptions.

  1. I claim no ownership or innovation in any of these ideas or phrases. If you believe that anything that I present is useful, feel free to use it, with or without attribution. In fact, feel free to claim it as your own — so long as you endeavoring in good faith to get us through the Great Transition in good order.
  1. I read and have read an enormous amount of material in my life. I have also spent an unreasonable amount of time noodling on these things by myself. I do not claim any of these ideas as my own — but it is entirely possible that some or all of them have been thought about (likely better) by other people and I either have forgotten the source or (often) rediscovered the same thing as someone else. If you see something in my work that you think belongs to someone else, please simply drop a note in the Medium text giving the reference and I’ll make it public. This would be very helpful.
  1. If you would like to see more of something, ask questions or collaborate, please feel free to either comment directly in the Medium content or to go to Emergent By Design, a blog that has given me permission to cross post. I read every comment.
